3 Kids, 2 Dogs, and the Jungle is a minimalist house located in Hyogo, Japan, designed by Osamu Morishita Architect & Associates. The brief for the clients was to create a space that would not only facilitate communion, but also allow for privacy for the individual residents. Given the fact that the family has three daughters and two dogs, the architects decided to create a “house within a house” in order to move forward with the concept. In addition, a space dedicated for the dogs was created to maintain their happiness and well-being.
