Akiruno Silver House is a minimalist residence located in Tokyo, Japan, designed by Junpei Nousaku Architects. The clients are an elderly couple who have lived in the home that was built over 30 years ago. There is a garden situated on the south side, which the architects wanted the entrance to be relocated. Instead of rebuilding the structure, the architects decided to create an extension that would be update the frontage of the space. This extension provides the residents with a terrace and balcony on the upper level.
