Ash House is a minimalist residence located in Chiba, Japan, designed by Nagakubo Kenji Design Office. The metal-clad building features a gabled roof with skylights to provide additional natural lighting without compromise to privacy. The home is situated adjacent a multitude of train tracks, but instead of blocking off the view, the residence embraces the unique scenery. Glazed sliding doors on the ground floor open up to the garden in the back.
