BN House is a minimalist house located in Sao Paulo, Brazil, designed by METRO Arquitetos Associados. This project for a house consists of four volumes of different heights, executed in exposed concrete and linked via a series of glazed circulation pathways. The organization of these volumes over the site forms a series of individual terraces and gardens, complimenting their geometric language and reinforcing the connection between the outside and the interior of the residence. A series of distinctive staircases allow vertical circulation, one uses the same raw concrete as the main structure and is cantilevered off it; whilst a second spiral stair is executed in plate steel and leads up to a second floor terrace. The first floor contains three generous en-suite bedrooms. On the upper floor, an office and additional living space adjoin a terrace. The garage is in the basement and accessed via a ramp.
