Container Base is a minimalist residence located in Tokushima, Japan, designed by Container Design. The residence is constructed of two groups of 40ft shipping containers. The containers serve as both the home’s exterior structure, as well as storage for the clients’ various hobbies and activities, which include biking and music. The foundation is constructed of concrete, with the interior flooring composed of cedar.
