Floating House is a minimalist house located in Shiga, Japan, designed by Satoru Hirota Architects. The residence is split between its internal living programs and a gallery for the client. The upper volume is cantilevered over the exposed concrete ground level structure. The interior consists mainly of concrete mixed with dark wooded accents, with a brighter setup in the kitchen space.
