Haus Turf is a minimalist residence located in Hyogo, Japan, designed by Yamane Tetsuya. The site is located between a river and railway lines. The surrounding environment is mostly filled with nature, and the architects wanted to maximize certain viewpoints around the home. The interior features oak wood with brass fixtures as well as a blackboard wall to allow the client’s children to draw, as well as to write reminders.
