haus-note is a minimalist residence located in Hyogo, Japan, designed by Yamane Tetsuya. The clients are a married couple with one child looking for a bright and comfortable living space. In addition, the clients are musicians, and wanted a portion of the living space, as well as their music studio, to be soundproof in order to ensure their neighbors would not be disturbed. As a result, wood was not only used for the floors, but for a portion of the ceilings and walls as well.
