Helena’s Villa is a minimalist house located in Safi, Malta, designed by Grech & Vinci Architecture & Design. A site bounded by other dwellings necessitated a villa concept with privacy in mind. Modernist forms interpret the sense of protection given by a castle; monumental from the outside, but opening up into internal courtyards and light-filled living spaces. (7)
