House in Austin by Jadric Architecture

Name: House in Austin

Designer: Jadric Architecture

Location: Austin, Texas

House in Austin is a minimalistic house located in Texas that was built to align itself with the surrounding space, so as to create proper lighting conditions within the home.  The North and South portions of the house are aligned with the terraces, while the East and West portions hold most of the window to help illuminate the home.

The house is not that far away from the city center, and is protected by the topography and the trees from the land plot. The kitchen is decorated with a polished concrete floor and not much else, which accents the free floating staircase quite nicely. Enormous windows extend the majority of the living room from below, and the second floor from above. In almost every room, including the bathroom, inhabitants can appreciate large panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
