House for a Designer is a minimalist residence located in Asakusa, Japan, designed by THREE.BALL.CASCADE. ARCHITECTS. The space is characterized by a large inset sofa that looks out to the balcony. Herringbone patterned wooden floors are contrasted against dark brick and walnut wood accents. Partitions within the home do not extend fully toward the ceiling, allowing some natural light to enter the deeper spaces within.
