House in Hikone is a minimalist house located in Shiga, Japan, designed by Tato Architects. The two-story residence features double-height spaces, curved on each end with a surface that follows the wall. A staircase runs the perimeter of the curved portion of the residence, starting above the worktop. The exterior facade is constructed mainly of corrugated metal.
