House in Horie is a minimalist residence located in Ehime, Japan, designed by Hayato Komatsu Architects. The home consists of monolith rectilinear volumes that create varying ceiling heights and light wells that provide privacy for the residents without compromising on natural illumination. Although the front of the home is without windows, the rear and side of the house features glazed sliding doors and a large glass window above the kitchen.
