House in Setagaya is a minimal residence located in Tokyo, Japan, designed by SNARK. The home is elevated slightly above a parking space, and is characterized by a slightly angled roof that is translated into double-height ceilings within. Due to the proximity of neighboring homes, the architects use slit windows in order to allow natural light to enter the space without compromising privacy. Exposed beams array along the ceiling, while custom bookcases and cabinets maximize space and storage.
