House in Yusui-cho is a minimal residence located in Kagoshima, Japan, designed by Atelier Ring Architects. Situated near the Kirishima mountain range, the home is characterized by an internal courtyard and a galvanized metal exterior. Roof access is available via a glazed door, and residents can peer through into the interior courtyard while on the roof as well. The frontage is mostly windowless, while the interior courtyard is surrounded by glass in order to maximize natural light.
