House in Kawasaki Daishi is a minimalist residence located in Kawasaki, Japan, designed by Masao Yahagi Architects. The exterior consists of galvanized metal, with a similar aesthetic to shipping containers. The building is segregated into three rectilinear volumes that are connected internally by a long hallway serving as the main space. The protrusions create balcony and terrace space for the residents to relax outside. They are partially obstructed by wooden lattices that create ambient lighting and maintain privacy.
