House M2 is a minimalist residence located in Tokyo, Japan, designed by Hiroyuki Shinozaki. The three-story wooden home is characterized by an offset third floor that is angled to provide maximum natural light through the above skylights. In order to expose the ground floor to additional light, a strip of glass is placed on the perimeter of the upper most level to allow light to enter the lower levels. A series of sliding glass partitions allow the residents to open up the space further.
