House by the Swamp is a minimalist residence created by Japan-based architects Akasaka Shinichiro Atelier. The rear of the building faces a swamp, full of green and trees that the architects wanted to expose visually for the residents. As a result, large glazings cover the back of the house, with access available to a terrace via a series of sliding doors. The frontage is characterized by a large square opening that maintains the privacy of the residents by exposing only the upper portion of the double-height ceiling.
