House in Tohkou is a minimalist residence located in Fukuoka, Japan, designed by Kenji Matsuoka. Situated in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, the site overlooks the Umami mountain range. The structure is characterized by a large skylight opening that provides abundant natural light as well as fresh air circulation. While the facade is mostly windowless, a series of sliding glazed doors provide access to the interior courtyard.
