Housing of the Ridge is a minimalist house located in Sendai, Japan, designed by Urban Architecture Planning Partnership. The house is built east to west in order to focus on the various viewpoints surrounding the site. There is also a secluded courtyard within the residence in order to provide additional privacy. The front exterior is constructed of a series of glass fixtures that span the entire facade. The backside of the home features sliding doors that completely open up to the courtyard. (2)
