K-House is a minimalist residence located in Fujisawa, Japan, designed by Ushijima Architects. The project is a wooden two-story house for four people located about 1 kilometer from the shore of Shonan. By incorporating small buildings into a larger building, the designers incorporated the atmosphere of the surrounding residential areas. By connecting the space with a big volume on the skip floor, the architects created a family connection. Brace and pillars not only conveyed the horizontal array of the floor, but also created a connection and enclosure by gently dividing the space.
