M-House is a minimalist house located in Hyogo, Japan, designed by TOFU. The site faces a busy highway, with noise and vibration from larger vehicles being a concern for the clients. As a result, the architects cantilevered the structure so that minimal contact was made to the ground to reduce vibrations. In addition, galvanized steel and added insulation was used to block noise pollution for the residents.
