Palette is a minimalist house located in Tokyo, Japan, designed by Hiroki Tominaga Atelier. Approximately 130 shipping palettes were used to create the floorboards, furniture, and wall coverings of the residence. The result was an aesthetic, yet very cost efficient method of designing the home. In total, the construction cost totaled less than $2000.
