Pile of Life is a minimalist architecture project located in Osaka, Japan, designed by Tsubasa Iwahashi. The site is a 65 square meter plot planned for a married couple with their two boys. The architects wanted to maximize the volume to fit the family’s daily activities. The clients like to hold cooking parties with friends, thus an open kitchen was requested. The architects were also keen on creating additional storage space as well as a larger bedroom. In addition, a terrace was included to allow the clients to view the summer fireworks.
