Twin-Winged Gable is a minimalist house located in Miyagi, Japan, designed by Haretoke. The residence is for an elderly couple situated in a well-known area for migratory birds. In order to avoid potential flooding by the nearby river, the home is lifted and supported by a series of beams. The architects were keen on maximizing views of the landscape throughout the programs within the home.
