Villa on the Park is a minimal Japanese home located in Kanagawa, Japan, designed by M-architects. As the name suggests, the residence is built alongside a park, and is constructed mainly of wood. In order to maintain privacy, opaque frosted glass was used along the internal courtyard in order to provide natural light, without compromise to the privacy of the residents within. Adjacent the dining area is a large floor-to-ceiling window that is reciprocated on the upper level as well.
