The word, “impeccable” just isn’t enough to describe the precision of the Aero desk; designed by Japanese company, Balmuda. If the surface looks paper-thin to you, it’s because it pretty much is.
The whole desk is laser-cut using a piece of 3.5mm sheet of steel. If that isn’t cool enough for you, the desk is also finished with a powder-coated layer of glass. Typical of the language of minimalism, this desk is stripped of additional senseless materials, and communicates a form that speaks for itself.
Without the use of screws or connecting parts Aero is configured from a single sheet of steel with only two ribs. Nothing more. Leaving the excess out and only what is truly necessary, we believe Aero can be claimed one of world’s simplest and thinnest work desk.
