Axlon is a minimal table designed by Italy-based designers Oscar & Gabriele Buratti for Acerbis. The table was featured in Salone del Mobile 2012, and comes in either black lacquered, black glass, or a Corian top. The table comes in extendable or fixed versions, and seats six to ten people. The extendable version can be easily opened with a quick extraction of the central element due to hidden rails on each side.

There are times when you just know that a certain piece of furniture is expensive. It would only have to take a quick glance for me to realize how out of my price range Axlon table is. Although minimal, this table has a certain presence – an inexplicably impressive aura emanating from every edge and every corner. This table has a, “look, but don’t touch,” appearance written all over it.
