Bias Lounge is a minimalist lounge chair created by Berlin-based designer Geckeler Michels. The entire Bias collection is based on few geometric elements: the key distinctive feature is the inclined cylinder base. For the lounge chair, the originally flat wooden top of the side-tables has been reshaped into a three-dimensional curved seat shell. The resulting character reflects the idea of a fluttering sheet of paper resting gracefully on a sloping cylinder. A considerable amount of wood is used in the Bias collection, which can cater to a wide variety of contemporary needs. It is bursting with personality, so it is more than capable of standing alone in living spaces and the different spheres of the contract market.
