Bluewood is a minimalist partition created by Seoul-based designer Hyungshin Hwang. His work, rooted in the exploration of everyday experiences and personal memories, spans a diverse range of objects and projects. Hwang’s ongoing “Layered Series,” which began showcasing at KIAF in 2007, continues to evolve through international exhibitions, including the DMY Berlin Design Festival. Hwang’s latest creation, “Bluewood,” is a partition crafted from oxidized solid oak. The subtle blue tint in the oxidized finish adds a distinctive character to the piece. The tri-fold design features a minimal cut at the bottom edge of each panel.
