Bow is a minimalist design created by England-based designer Benjamin Hubert for De La Espada. The designs are made of solid ash, and held in tension by a sheet of mild steel. The steel serves as the cornerstone for the table's stability, offering a high strength to weight ratio by using as little material as possible. (10)

Bow is a minimalist design created by England-based designer Benjamin Hubert for De La Espada. The designs are made of solid ash, and held in tension by a sheet of mild steel. The steel serves as the cornerstone for the table’s stability, offering a high strength to weight ratio by using as little material as possible.

In order to maintain the fluidity of the two materials, CNC cuts were made on the separate components. The design is able to be completely knocked-down in order to reduce shipping costs and carbon output. Hubert has been working on the project for a little over a year, experimenting with prototypes and several concept iterations.
