Grille Chair is a minimalist chair created by Melbourne-based designer Marcel Sigel. With a simple, uncomplicated aesthetic, the collection was designed to cross the boundaries between indoor and outdoor living. Inspired by the laid-back Australian lifestyle, the collection symbolizes relaxation and enjoyment through the referencing of Australian’s well known love of eating outdoors; primarily using one’s barbecue grille. The industrial mesh and tubular steel construction features a distinct configuration, enabling the back legs to be fixed in 2 points for added strength, whilst allowing the internal stacking of up to 5 chairs. The range features a family of parallel concepts, brought together to form a cohesive collection, whilst each maintaining their own defining character. Items include stackable chairs, bar and counter height stools, bistro table, and star base table.
