Haley is a minimalist seating collection designed by German-based designer Alexander Rehn. The collection consists of a chair and a barstool made of expanded metal. Both designs are completely stackable and highly durable, which make them perfect for gastronomical use.

The designer describes the transparent chair as a lucent seat shell which represents a design that is never intrusive and always modern. I happen to agree with Rehn in that the design would be inconspicuous in most outdoor dining situations. I also believe that good design should be invisible – as if it never had been designed at all. I feel as though this is a design which both Don Norman and Dieter Rams could appreciate. What do you guys think?
