The Keyhole Collection is a minimalist dining ensemble from San Francisco-based furniture manufacturer, Fyrn. Featuring a meticulously crafted table and accompanying bench, the collection is distinguished by unique metal hardware elements that underscore the company’s holistic approach to furniture making. Keyhole represents a significant advancement in Fyrn’s repertoire and manufacturing capabilities, broadening the brand’s design language while complementing its existing, patented seating series.

Named for the proprietary brackets visible through ‘keyholes’ in the solid wood tabletops, the Keyhole Collection showcases structural support rather than concealing it. The Keyhole Table reimagines the classic trestle design, forgoing a traditional apron in favor of highlighting the  exposed leg connections with visible gaps. Its clean-lined base maximizes comfort, while the floating solid wood top optimizes dining space.

Echoing the table’s design, the Keyhole Bench exhibits the same trestle shape with displayed engineering. It is as an ideal companion to the Keyhole Table, or can be seamlessly integrated with Fyrn’s earlier seating series. Imagined by Ros Broughton, a fourth-generation woodworker and Fyrn’s Co-Founder, the Keyhole Collection showcases the brand’s proprietary Stemn Sytsem manufacturing technology.

“The Keyhole Collection represents a significant milestone in Fyrn’s design system, expanding our production capabilities,” remarks Broughton. “It seamlessly complements our existing offerings, highlighting our commitment to blending design and functionality.”

Crafted in the USA from solid North American hardwood and featuring interior and exterior hardware produced in-house, the Keyhole Collection exemplifies Fyrn’s ability to merge the warmth of wood with the strength of metal, resulting in products that are both industrial and organic. Available in Natural Oak, Black Walnut, and Oxidized Oak with Copper Bronze or Graphite brackets, custom lengths are available to accommodate varying needs.
