I’m pretty satisfied in finding Levitt, a sofa designed by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba for Viccarbe. Whenever I come across a unique design, such as this, I start doing a lot of compulsive research. It’s kind of like spending an hour on IMDB after you’ve watched a movie just to fulfill your curiosity.
Unfortunately, there isn’t a lot of information I can find about this product, so I’ll make my own description. What I do know is that the Levitt sofa is made of MDF wood, polyurethane, and polyester fiber. The armrest merges into the back of the sofa to provide support. This contrast is an interesting response to the usual and bland structure of most sofas.
The material and color choice is definitely my favorite. There is a masculine feel to the Levitt that is a result of its form and upholstery.
