Loid is a minimalist chair created by Berlin-based designer Geckeler Michels. Loid is a concept of a wooden dining and task chair, embracing advanced ergonomic requirements. It offers an active sitting experience through a frontal tilt movement and a gentle flexibility in the seat and back areas. Wing-like shaped plywood shells are being held by flexible plywood runners, which are elemental for the eye-catching cantilever momentum. The all-wood chair allows easy assembly with a minimum of constructive parts and comes in flat pack.
