Nenou is an architectural furniture concept designed in collaboration by Swiss designer Jörg Boner and COR Sitzmöbel. The collection was debuted to the world at Milan Design Week 2019 in the Brera Design District.

Inspired by the shape of a water lily, each piece can be used to create colonies such as a “water-lily carpet or a magical clearing in a forest populated by larger or smaller organic sculptures.” Spatial topographies emerge as the easy chair, stool, pouf, table and bench are placed and arranged in any architectural environment.

An indentation in the centre of the upholstery mirrors that of water lily leaf pad, providing functionality in ergonomics as well as an aesthetic detail which feels inviting to rest upon.
