Pelt by Benjamin Hubert

Posted on October 3rd, 2012 by

Pelt is a minimal design created by England-based designer Benjamin Hubert for De La Espada. The T-shaped design features a piece of curved plywood curled into a solid ash frame. Slight tabs on each side of the bend plywood fit snuggly into recesses within the frame in order to make the transition of the two materials smooth and level. The complex curvature of the seat-back is produced using CNC-machinery. (10)

About the Author – Leo Lei

My two passions in life are entrepreneurship and design. I started Leibal as a hobby while I was still studying in college, and it has transformed into a business I could have never imagined. Within design, I love all things minimal. Our focus is to promote as many designers to as many people as possible.
