Picard is a minimal chair designed by German-based designer Moritz von Helldorff.

Name: Picard

Designer: Moritz von Helldorff

Location: Weimar, Germany

Picard is a minimal chair designed by German-based designer Moritz von Helldorff. The design is more a mixture between a lounge chair and a barstool. The height of the cantilever was adjusted so that an individual sitting in the chair would be face-to-face with someone who was standing.

I absolutely love the design of fighter jets, and whenever I see a design which is even remotely similar to them, it immediately grabs my attention. When you look at Picard from the side, it looks like half the wing and cockpit of jet. I can also appreciate the classy leather inset contrasting the white, molded shell which sits atop bent steel tubing. With all of these minimalist elements combined, this is definitely a chair I would buy. Would you?
