Plank Sofa by KnudsenBergHindenes + Myhr

Plank Sofa is a minimalist design created by Norwegian-based designers KnudsenBergHindenes. The sofa is easily assembled, and can be flat-packed for efficient delivery and transportation. The framework is constructed from massive floorboards taken from Dinesen Douglas spruce trees.

The main construction of two solid wooden ‘planks’ creates an impression of lightness and fluidity. Plank will be exhibited at the curated exhibition 100% Norway at Dray Walk Gallery Tent London 20 – 23 September 2012 during London Design festival.
