Profile Chair by Knauf and Brown

Profile Chair is a minimalist design created by Vancouver-based designers Knauf and Brown. The chair is an amalgamation of steel and wood. The steel forms the chair's hinged frame while the wood form the accented feet, legs, seating, and seat-back. The design is distinguishably minimalist and light - and the chair folds away into a compact position when unneeded. (1)

Profile Chair is a minimalist design created by Vancouver-based designers Knauf and Brown. The chair is an amalgamation of steel and wood. The steel forms the chair’s hinged frame while the wood form the accented feet, legs, seating, and seat-back. The design is distinguishably minimalist and light – and the chair folds away into a compact position when unneeded.

Most of the folding chairs I’ve come across have been pretty ugly, but this design is sleek and simple. I don’t like the color of the steel, but other than that, the aesthetic on Profile Chair is striking. The chair looks fantastic sprawled out, and it looks just as good in its folded position as well.
