Saddle is a minimal chair designed by Norwegian-based designer AWAA. The soft and friendly upholstery is coupled by a relaxing and meditative aesthetic. The hanging cushions function as a soft armrests as well as magazine holders. The wooden frame was designed to become as detached to the individual as possible, and to underscore the comfort and softness of the upholstery.

I want nothing more but to sink into this minimal chair right now. Just look at how the cushions would wrap around you in a warm embrace. If I can come home and sit on a chair where I can comfortably read my book and drink my scotch, then it’s a good enough chair for me. I’m infatuated with the purity of its aesthetic as well. The color tones mix so well together – the whole design just works.
