Set 01 is a minimal collection designed by Matej Chabera. The pieces are composed of Barstool 02, Table01 and Coatstand 01. The designs were conceived with the idea of maximizing social interaction. For example, the height of the barstool was chosen to ensure that the seated and standing individual would be face-to-face with each other.

I always appreciate a well-thought out design on a functional level, but the aesthetics of Set 01 is what grabbed my attention. The pieces were manufactured with CNC, and made of natural wood. This design is what I love about minimalism. It’s so seemingly simple, but there are so many details and intricacies that had to be injected into its planning phases that build the subtlety of its character in the end. What are your thoughts?
