Wired Shelf by Siyuan Zhang

Name: Wired Shelf

Designer: Siyuan Zhang

Location: Reims, France

Wired Shelf is a minimalist design created by France-based designer Siyuan Zhang. The shelf was designed to be assembled without the use of screws or nails. The entire structure is held together by elastic metal wires that provide tension and keep the assembly together.

So not only does this design look awesome, but there is no need for tools because the entire assembly is just hooking up a bunch of wires. Genius. This is another one of those designs that covers all its bases: simple materials, flat-packed delivery, and no screws. It makes my day when I come across smart designs such as Wired Shelf.
