Aesop Park Slope is a minimalist space located in Brooklyn, New York, designed by Frida Escobedo. The designer wanted to create a modular structure, mainly brick, that would result in a simple yet striking feature for the interior. The bricks are constructed of Oaxacan red earth; the designers used a natural pigment sourced in Mexico to get the rosy hue. The designers wanted to not only reference Mexico’s surroundings, but also the Brooklyn neighborhood for design inspiration.
