Birkenstock 1774 Showroom is a minimalist showroom located in Paris, France, designed by VINSON&Co. The 170 sqm showroom is situated within a typical Haussmann-style Paris apartment, replete with ornate moldings, parquet floors, and a stone fireplace. The brief was to maintain a clean and simple space that would utilize neutral materials and handmade finishes. The designer was deliberate and maintaining some of the spaces’ patina, as an aged look is a signature style within the Birkenstock shoe line. Iconic pieces can be seen throughout, including Roly Poly chair by Faye Toogood, a few Pierre Jeanneret’s, and a 1940s vintage bar trolley to name a few.
