Julien David Jingumae is a minimalist space located in Tokyo, Japan designed by ciguë. The store interior consists mainly of concrete and grooved plaster mixed with aluminum and concrete furnishings. The aluminum displays are composed in an array of columns, each having varying heights. From certain angles, it appears as though the displays are nothing more than blocks of aluminum. Concrete slabs are used to showcase products as well, some of which are perfectly formed, while others were pieces that had been purposefully broken off.
