Midi a Midi is a minimalist house located in Kanagawa, Japan, designed by Aki Hamada Architects. For the designers, the process of combining pastries and books seemed like a sensible partnership in that both involve people choosing, taking out, and enjoying the products in question. Three types of seating are available within the space: counter seating, a long communal table, and tatami-styled platforms.
