Oryza Nakanosima Spinning is a minimalist house located in Osaka, Japan, designed by Naoya Matsumoto Design. The clients are a specialty restaurant dealing with tapas and wine. A terrace, with seating provided, overlooks the waterfront, while the interior consists mainly of exposed concrete and industrial lighting. The designers wanted to use the “onion” as the main source of inspiration, thus creating a countertop that resembles the skin of a peeled onion.
