Patio House is a minimalist home located in Loriguilla, Spain, designed by Alberto Facundo Arquitectura. The project consists of two volumes that respond to the surrounding typology. The space between the two volumes serves as an open living space focused around lighting, circulation, and organization. The staircase is also a central element, separating open on both sides and constructed of concrete. With the initial premise of providing privacy to the house, direct views to the outside are avoided. Light enters through a series of longitudinal recesses and skylights.
